Brainstem Damage

I have uncovered a series of links to articles covering brainstem damage;  these typically give the methods of "obtaining" the damage, the results to be expected from damage in that area of the brain, and even one study on "Locked-in" patients - patients who are totally concious and aware in reality, but equally as totally unable to express themselves in speech, writing, or even movement!  So often they go for year(s) before some bright spark sees that they are actually AWARE!.

So please enjoy these links
